The Construction Worker plays an important role within the organization:
the support of our construction services as well as our facilities team.
This position requires interpersonal skills, patience, professional communication, safety training, a wide range of mechanical skills, great levels of involvement, and the coordination of volunteers.
The Construction Worker must be friendly, detail oriented and possess excellent mechanical and organizational skills.
Through these responsibilities you will keep the construction projects on schedule and within budget.
REPORTS TO:
Construction Superintendent Operations Manager COORDINATES WITH:
Administration Facilities Family Services Department Supportive Outreach Services
Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Construction team.
Perform routine pick up work and clean up.
Provide support to manage and oversee all construction projects.
Perform construction tasks as necessary to ensure projects are complete and ready for inspection.
Coordinate and/or perform the delivery/pick up and installation of materials and supplies.
Read and interpret construction plan sets in order to discuss and verify proper installation.
Provide support to the Facilities Department.
May include framing, plumbing, electrical, clean-up, landscaping and other support as necessary.
Participate and provide support to various special projects and tasks.
Apply preventative measures to reduce the risk of future problems.
Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
Manage and check daily phone calls and emails.
Regularly attend and participate in staff meetings.
Upkeep and maintain any and all Facilities vehicles, equipment, tools and materials.
Keep a clean and well managed vehicle, office, and jobsite.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Benefits:
Starting hourly wage between $15.
