Applicant must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and be able to show proof of vaccination.
2 yrs in Human Resources and Employee Benefits a must.
Knowledge of labor laws, personnel policies and Federal Regulations required.
This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday at our Marysville facility.

Interpret and explain human resources policies to managers and staff as needed.
Prepare or maintain employment records, both physical and electronic, related to events such as hiring, termination, transfers, promotions, and employee health using human resources management system software Process termination-related paperwork Assist managers with the onboarding process, and keep them informed of their incoming employee status Maintain recruitment for internal and external applicants o Ensure requisitions are completed correctly o Post and monitor open positions to external recruitment sources o Work with staffing agencies as needed for temporary workers o Assist managers with reviewing assessment scores of applicants Employee Hiring including:
o Maintain staffing positions on Basecamp o Issue position offers and pre-hire paperwork o Coordinate Pre-Hire screenings (drug and physical, immunizations) o Verify past employment and work references o Obtain signatures for all related hiring paperwork before and at time of hire o Populate employee profile in UKG o Communicate with Payroll to ensure all necessary information is provided o Track temporary staff and assist with conversion to permanent status as needed Coordinate and assist in conducting new employee orientations o Schedule orientation with employee and their manager o Maintain calendar invites for presenters o Assist with ensuring all participants are online and ready for orientation o Maintain monthly agenda Process Open Enrollment and Benefits o Attend meetings regarding annual benefit offerings o Provide input on employee experience so decisions can be made on benefit changes o Work with broker to ensure all benefits are set up correctly o Communicate with employees regarding changes to plans and rates o Review and process employee annual elections o Run reports to ensure proper enrollment by carriers o Balance monthly benefit statements o Communicate with carriers when incorrect information is found o Enroll COBRA participants if elected Process Employee terminations o Coordinate with employee manager for termination documents o Work with Payroll for final check o Discuss COBRA with terminating employee o Assist with collection of keys and badges as needed o Prepare certified mail for instances such as of walk outs Prepare monthly HR reports Maintain position history list Process monthly Turnover Report Process changes from PAC forms and file and distribute as needed.
Maintain Criteria Corp pre-employment assessment testing Submit COBRA new benefits and terminations to TPA Update and maintain benefit books for new hires, ensuring each new hire receives a book Prepare and distribute written and verbal information as needed during the performance of the job Maintain current and terminated I-9 files.
Purge outdated I-9 files quarterly Ensure EEOC data is maintained for accurate annual reporting Other Honey Bee loan program - submit loan verifications and submit termination notices DMV Pull Notice program - add drivers to the online Pull Notice program and monitor for updates Employee Morale:
Stickers, sticker books, candy bags, welcome signs, selfie staff directory, safety bingo game Utilize internal project tracking system to maintain cross company communication.
Monitor vendor platform related to ACA compliance for annual reporting.
Facilitate SB1343 training - new employees and existing employees Track and ensure AB1825 compliance is current Assist HR team with projects as assigned Maintain and enhance competency through in-services, staff meetings and educational programs Other duties as assigned Travel Requirements Occasionally may travel to other sites to attend meetings or training; occasionally overnight for training.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
