RN Cardiac Cath Lab
The cath lab RN is a registered professional nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability for patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including cardiac catheterization, intra-aortic balloon pump insertions, temporary and permanent pacemaker insertions, and percutaneous coronary intervention.
Need to be able to work within a team environment with staff of varying licenses, abilities, and responsibilities.
Must be competent to manage potentially unstable patient care situations during high risk procedures and be able to provide advanced life support within the department and during transfers.
Two years experience as a staff nurse in the critical setting is preferred.
Must have documented competency in arrhythmia interpretation, hemodynamic monitoring, and pacemaker management.
California RN license,CPR card, and ACLS required.
Intra-Aortic balloon Pump certification required within six months.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
