PERI-ANESTHESIA MANAGER

DEFINITION:
The Manager is a registered professional nurse in a managerial position who has 24 hour supervisory responsibility for the Perioperative department.
The Perioperative Manager is the in the areas of patient care activities, unit operation and staffing functions in accordance with the mission, philosophy, standards, policies and procedures of Fremont-Rideout Health Group.
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
RN's, OR Aides and or Nursing Assistants, Monitor techs, unit secretaries and others as assigned.
EXEMPTION STATUS:
EXEMPT KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, required.
Master's Degree, preferred.
May consider years of experience with a commitment to obtain degree.
SKILLS:
Demonstrate clinical competence in relevant area of nursing practice.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Evidence of this includes, but is not limited to, effective communication skills and abilities to deal well with people, ability to problem solve, confront/resolve issues, motivate others, ability to plan, and organize and direct the activities of others.
Possesses current unit based competencies.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years' Peri Anesthesia Room experience including previous supervisory experience.
LICENSE:
Valid and current California RN license.
CPAN Certification required.
PATIENTS SERVED:
This position is responsible for age-related physiological, emotional and cognitive needs of all Peri-anesthesia patients.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
