Laboratory Section Supervisor
Definition:
A skilled practitioner who by training, experience and demonstrated leadership qualities is chosen and assigned a number of job responsibilities and duties, with a specific focus on a delineated area, or areas, of the laboratories by the Laboratory Director and Laboratory Manager.
This individual will provide leadership to ensure that quality, timely and appropriate care is provided to patients of any age including neonatal, infant, child adolescent, adult and geriatric through patient assessment and treatment.
Knowledge:
Graduate of a recognized college or university with a B.
S.
degree is desirable.
Currently licensed as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
Experience:
A minimum of five years progressive experience in an acute care hospital setting is required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
