Compliance and Ethics Program Analyst

- Bachelors degree is required - 1-2 years experience is required DEFINITION:
The Compliance Analyst is responsible for serving as a project leader for various Compliance initiatives including using computers and related systems to design new processes, solutions, modifications, enhancements or adapting existing systems and integrate new features or improvements within the electronic environment related to policy and learning/training, project management, tracking mechanisms, auditing and monitoring systems, all with the aim of improving efficiency, job competencies and productivity.
The Compliance Program Analyst is also responsible for designing and supporting the organization's other Compliance Program functions and initiatives to ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
This position will provide technical expertise to meet system objectives and translate system and end user requirements in the area of master educational and training data and internal audit function/corrective action plans.
Provide guidance in adhering to standard process and tool functionality.
The Compliance Program Analyst will follow all phases of project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, training, deployment and post-production support/maintenance for assigned projects system-wide.

Knowledge of Policy Management software by NAVEXglobal Knowledge of EthicsPoint by NAVEXglobal Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, Business is required.
Equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
SKILLS:
Must possess analytical skills to evaluate new hospital system requirements, opportunities, and issues and propose appropriate solutions.
Demonstrates conceptual reasoning skills and discretionary judgment and an understanding of education, compliance, privacy and quality area policies, processes and corrective action plans.
Demonstrated ability to work with clinical and non-clinical partners to understand organizational education needs opportunities and issues and provide solutions with the ability to articulate system process approaches.
Ability to partner with system operations to assist in development, implementation and tracking corrective action plans.
Ability to propose and develop Requests for Proposals, incorporating input from appropriate stakeholders from throughout the health system.
Ability to work with the system's electronic learning management solution.
Strong application skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Visio, @Task, Adobe Professional, Performance Logic, with advanced knowledge of creating and managing complex spreadsheets, tracking documents, and workflows.
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and work under changing conditions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Work closely with clinical and non-clinical staff to facilitate effective solution implementations and provide knowledge transfer of system functionality to Super Users, Subject Matter Experts and end users
Experience:
3 to 5 year experience in the Healthcare Industry 1 to 3 year experience in IT applications (development and/or implementation of new systems) 3 to 5 year experience in project management 1 to 3 year experience with an electronic medical record LICENSE:
Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) within first year of hire is required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
