Pharmacist
Definition:
A skilled practitioner, responsible for providing prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals needed for adequate patient care according to professional standards and practices.
This practitioner collaborates with physicians and other members of the health care team and is responsible for provision of quality, timely and appropriate care to patients of any age through implementation of utilization review and clinical education programs.
Knowledge:
Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy Skills:
Good organizational skills, exercise good judgement and communicates effectively.
Experience in an acute care facility preferred.
License:
Valid CA Pharmacist.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
