Laboratory Outpatient Services Support Supervisor

All Outpatient Laboratory Assistants and Lab Receptionists EXEMPTION STATUS:
Exempt KNOWLEDGE:
High School graduate or Better.
SKILLS:
Good organizational skills.
Good verbal and written skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and exercise good judgment.
Basic to moderate computer skills.
Experience:
Strong patient and customer relations' skills.
Minimum of 2 years of scheduling/ admitting/business office, physician office experience.
Must also be familiar with patient privacy regulations and guidelines.
Must have experience in lab assistant and phlebotomy services.
Must be able to communicate with outpatient clinicians and seek potential to expand outpatient/outreach services for organization.
LICENSE:
CPR, State of California Phlebotomy License Under general direction of the Director of Laboratory, this position will be responsible for managing the Laboratory Assistants and Registration Outpatient staff.
The Laboratory Outpatient Support Supervisor effectively manages the staff to ensure the quality of service provided by the department.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
