Emergency Room Technician II

DEFINITION:
The Emergency Department Technician will function as supports the Emergency Department by performing basic emergency medical procedures as directed.
Under supervision, assists nurses and physicians in the performance of their functions and responding to needs of patients of any age, within the scope of their practice, while providing the best quality emergency care possible to every patient.
KNOWLEDGE:
EMT-1 course completion and certification required.
Enrollment in an accredited RN program is highly desired, medical terminology, computer literacy, basic patient care principals, basic knowledge of anatomy relevant to body systems, and understanding of aseptic techniques.
High School graduate or GED equivalent.
MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior) and FRA (First Responder Awareness) required within six months.
FRO (First Responder Observation) required within one year.
SKILLS:
Amiable personality with the ability to adapt to on-going environmental change.
Ability to meet public and work as a team member.
Good verbal and written skills.
Experience:
Previous experience as an Emergency Services Technician or CNA preferred.
Previous patient care experience in an acute medical setting preferred.
LICENSE:
NREMT EMT-1 license required.
Current BLS, CPR required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
